DesignGateway Professional

DesignGateway Professional provides a quick and easy way to create and maintain 2D geometry from industry standard 3D modelers. DesignGateway communicates with the modeling software package that exists on any machine on the local network to deliver drafting views and section cuts, accurately, without translation. With a simple and intuitive interface, a CAD user is able to create, section and update views of 3D models with ease.

DesignGateway for AutoCAD®

DesignGateway for AutoCAD provides a method by which your AutoCAD and 3D solid model applications can communicate and share information without need to translate data to an intermediate format such as IGES, STEP and DXF. It provides capabilities for AutoCAD users to perform 3D view and section creation right from within AutoCAD and for 3D users to receive accurate sophisticated sketches from AutoCAD to jumpstart creation of solid models.

DesignGateway for CADRA®

DesignGateway for CADRA makes the interoperability between 2D and 3D much easier and less costly. It enables DesignGateway for CADRA and a number of popular 3D solid modeling applications to communicate without the need to translate data to an intermediate format, as well as CADRA users to perform 3D view and section creation without leaving the CADRA application or needing to master a 3D application. In turn, SolidWorks and Pro/Engineer users can also receive accurate sophisticated sketches from CADRA to begin creation of their solid models.

DesignGateway for CADRA has all the features you've come to appreciate with CADRA Works plus adds support for Pro/Engineer, CATIA and Parasolid® models and assemblies. Your CADRA users will benefit with the ability to:

• Re-orient the model prior to view creation (without disturbing the original model data)
• Preview of view creation
• Utilize a 3D model window that allows you to view and rotate shaded, wireframe and hidden line views of the model within CADRA
• Share solid modeling applications with other users from around your network
